SERENA FINITUDE

This is the story of two sisters. One is serene, the other curious. Serena, the one who came first, takes care of her younger sister, who, as her name suggests, wants to know everything, to understand the reason for things. Through the window, they look at the landscape and observe the cycles of nature and reflect on the phases of life: matter, memory, the end. Everything that transforms.
Singer and songwriter Anelis Assumpção's debut in literature, Serena finitude is a lyrical and poetic narrative about love, life and death. The illustrations are by visual artist Aline Bispo, who worked with different techniques, such as painting and collage, to translate into images the universe of affection, discoveries and enchantments of the two sisters.
