The boy Orion begins to realize that the world can be full of dangers, such as storms, closets and basements. But nothing compares to Orion's fear of the dark. And no matter how much a boy looks for the most creative solutions, every day, there always comes a time to turn off the light to sleep.
 
Children's imagination and their ability to interpret reality is the theme of Orion and the Dark. When the boy gets tired of being afraid, his relationship with the night changes. Alongside an unexpected friend, the boy lives an adventure during the night and discovers that he was not afraid of the darkness, but of the unknown. Upon realizing that the scary noises and monsters are not what they seem, Orion understands that the world is not so scary.
