O URSO E A ÁRVORE
Winter has arrived, and the bear knows it's time for his long sleep. As he prepares to hibernate, he finds Lia sad because her favorite tree has lost its leaves. Instead of saying goodbye and going to sleep, the bear lifts Lia and places her on his furry back, as warm as a summer memory. They both go together to marvel at the last colorful leaves, enjoy the snow that falls, floating and swirling, the Sun, the Moon and the stars. The next morning, the bear is tired - and Lia knows he must sleep, but not before completing one last, important task. Stephen Michael King once again surprises with his apparently simple traits, but which have a lot to say. The Bear and the Tree presents a beautiful winter landscape that could only have come from the imagination of this admired and award-winning author.
