This book was born from a poem written by the actor and art educator Yuri de Francco, in which a boy, already speechless from crying, rains. Like a cloud really. Or, maybe you agree with me, like almost all of us.
In the hands of the artist Renato Moriconi, the book captured the movement that this rain and these feelings suggest, not only with the words and illustrations, but the book itself as an object. “The boy who became rain” is a hybrid of an illustrated book and a flipbook, or flipbook.
