In this tour through the world of rhythms, Batuquinho's story introduces readers to percussion instruments in a curious and fun way. The proposal, which has already been developed into musical theater and now into a book, is to offer children the possibility of creating a percussion universe with easily accessible materials that they can find at home. And to inspire the reader to delve deeper into this universe, we present here some of the most popular musical rhythms in Brazil: Samba, Baião, Afoxé, Toques de Capoeira, Rock, Reggae and Marcha.
