NINA - Uma história de Nina Simone

Nina Simone is a music icon. But before she was Nina Simone, she was Eunice Kathleen Waymon, a child prodigy who learned her first notes on the piano in her father's lap. When doors closed because of the color of her skin, she realized that her talent might not be enough to achieve her goals. Nina hid her hurt and persevered, finding a way to express herself despite the obstacles.

But while she achieved international fame, black people were persecuted in the streets for speaking out in defense of their own lives. Nina joined them in protest, raising her loud voice in the fight against inequality and racial discrimination. In demanding justice, his cry echoed across the world, and his legacy remains to this day a call to action and hope.
