Mortina is a girl different from all the others: she is a zombie girl. She spends her days at the Palacete Decrépito with her aunt Fafá Lecida and her inseparable friend, the albino greyhound Tristão.

Mortina's biggest dream is to have friends her own age to play with, but her aunt never lets her leave the house, because she is afraid of the reaction of humans when they meet the little zombie.

To her delight, one day the perfect opportunity appears: Halloween, when all the children take to the streets in their coolest costumes. horrifying. Mortina won't even need to change her clothes to face the biggest adventure of her life.
