JULIÁN É UMA SEREIA

While riding the subway with his grandmother, Julián saw a group of extremely dressed-up women. Their hair was flowing and in bright tones, their ornaments sparkled, and their dresses ended in a beautiful mermaid train. Their joy was contagious.

Julián é um mermaid won numerous awards, including the one at the International Children's and Young People's Book Fair in Bologna, Opera Prima category. The work delicately addresses themes such as individuality, family support and diversity.
