Jaxy Jatere is a tiny magical being who lives deep in the forest. He loves nighttime adventures, has an incredibly loud whistle, and, much like Saci Pererê, is always hopping from one place to another.
Though small in size, Jaxy is remarkably wise. A true friend of the forest, he knows everything about medicinal plants and healing herbs that can cure the body and soothe the heart. And whenever someone threatens the forest, Jaxy springs into action, using his cleverness, mischief, and magical talents to protect the natural world.
Inspired by the rich folklore of South America, this enchanting story celebrates nature, traditional knowledge, and the importance of caring for the environment.
