Iaiá and the Bottom of the Sea takes us on an adventure full of affection, awareness and courage. An invitation to question and do our part in the world, on a journey immersed in the deepest marine beauties.
The book tells the story of Iaiá, a girl with a giant heart who lives in a village in Ceará. The exciting story addresses the impact of plastic through a beautiful and playful journey through the bottom of the sea and shows a beautiful movement of change and awareness in partnership with the NGO Nossa Iracema and the Maré de Ciência project of UNIFESP (Baixada Santista Campus) which works on Marine Sciences in the context of the 2030 Agenda and the Sustainable Development Goals, aligned with the objectives of the Ocean Decade of UN.
For each book sold, Catavento will donate R$ 1.00 to the NGO Nossa Iracema, located in Fortaleza, Ceará. love. The work of the socio-environmental collective emerged in May 2020 and was created by André Comaru – socio-environmental entrepreneur and resident of Praia de Iracema – and consists of sensitizing the hearts of human beings in different sectors of society, bringing awareness to the need for oceanic preservation and regeneration.
