FÁBULA URBANA

Set in a shopping mall, the fable in this illustrated book begins when a poor boy, upon coming across a man in a suit, immediately asks: “Hey, uncle! Can you buy me a book?” The boy doesn't ask for change or a snack, he asks for a book. The dialogue continues, while the narrative that exposes the thoughts of this discontented, tense and prejudiced man, soon transformed into guilt, makes the reader reflect on everyday conflicts and increasingly accentuated social inequalities within the urban space.
