Hide and seek is one of the best childhood games. Finding animals hidden in the pages of a book, along with the reading of rhyming verses, can be great fun.

In A casa dos beijinhos, also by Claudia Bielinsky, the little dog Neném opens doors and closets looking for bits in every corner of his house. In this second volume of the series, the children accompany him during a day at school.

In the canteen, in the library, on top of the tree, in the bathroom, in the classroom... Baby insists on hiding, but all the good places have already been occupied by smart animals. To help Neném find a hiding place to call her own, the children lift flaps, in manipulative illustrations full of color.

Neném's epic is narrated in rhyming verses; By listening to them and following them through the drawings, children aged one to four are encouraged to get to know the places and animals at Neném's school, actively participating in the reading process.
