At 17 years old, in her final year of high school, Emoni Santiago isn’t quite sure what to do after graduation. With a baby daughter to raise, she believes there isn’t much room left in her life for dreams. So, Emoni follows a strict routine, doing whatever needs to be done for the sake of her grandmother and little Nenezinha. The kitchen is the only place where Emoni allows herself to be free. In her recipes, she adds a special touch of her feelings, and those who taste her dishes say they are magical. When her school starts offering cooking classes, Emoni finds herself reconsidering her future plans.
