Worm, macaw, jaguar, alligator and other animals are characters in this story, which addresses the food chain. In a game of guessing which animal appears in the corner of the page, text and image are presented in perfect synchronization. The author sought inspiration from trips he took to
the Amazon Rainforest, when he recorded much of what he saw in sketchbooks.
