On a walk with his mother, Hugo finds a hat on a bench. The hat is a tool for Hugo to delve into his own imagination. But, while Hugo travels to different places and situations, his mother interrupts him with the following question: “But, Hugo, what if someone needs this hat?” A simple hat can transport a child to incredible places and unexpected situations. 
The story allows us to work on generosity and solidarity, showing that our desires may not prevail over other people's needs.
