AULA DE SURFE

Mariana Massarani, graduated in Industrial Design from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, with a production of more than fifty children's books, in Aula de Surfe, illustrates and writes. Expressive, cheerful drawings, with strong lines, of all colors and sizes leap from each page to narrate the joy of Felipe and Vitória when participating, for the first time, in a surfing lesson. Seven o'clock in the morning! Victória and Felipe wake up very early this Saturday. Today is the first surf lesson of their lives. Jorge, their father, went early to catch a wave. He has been surfing since he was a boy. (...) Students are of all ages: from 5 to adults over 40! (...) Professor Zé Roberto distributes some lycra with the name of the school. And he says: – Guys, before getting in the water, warm up! And he teaches some really cool yoga positions.
