AMORAS
In his first children's book, Emicida tells a story full of simplicity and poetry, which shows the importance of recognizing ourselves in the small details of the world.
Presentation
In the song "Amoras", Emicida sings: "May the sweetness of the berries flavor soothe/ Made the child alone reach completion/ Daddy, that's good, because I'm black too". And it is from this rap that one of the most influential Brazilian artists today creates his first children's book and shows, through his text and Aldo Fabrini's illustrations, the importance of recognizing ourselves in the world and being proud of who we are – since childhood and forever.
"A book that showers children with the crystalline gaze of those who dream of planting springs to harvest the sweet fruit of humanity." – Sérgio Vaz
