On any given day, whales decide to leave the sea towards the cities and start living with human beings. They take the train, go to parks and restaurants, go shopping. The presence of these big animals makes everything fun, but it also creates a huge mess, which is why one girl begins to wonder why they left their homes. The answer is worrying: humans have polluted (and continue to pollute) the waters of the oceans, and something needs to be done now.
This rhyming, fun and creative book by Nick Bland, the father of Grumpy Bear and Popcorn Chicken, from The Fabulous Friend Machine, was considered one of the best children's works of the year 2022 by the Children's Book Council of Australia.
