A circus show, which is announced even before the book is opened, is presented by graceful ladybugs, who gradually show themselves to the public as cyclists, tightrope walkers, trapeze artists, jugglers and acrobats. Young readers are invited to occupy the stands and follow the artist ladybugs, who in the arena display themselves cumulatively with words and illustrations that play with the notion of space and quantity. The simple lines and reduced color palette (red, black and white), combined with a creative use of page space, create a harmonious and stimulating universe for children.
